Sand and Sea Embellishment Kit

Summer time is here! Time to head out for some sand and sea at the beach!

I made the calla lilies from canvas and burlap leaves. I think this is one of my great creations! :)

I added silver seashell charms to this set. I really like the light tones of the shells, they go great with the sand colored jewels.

Vogue Kit

My new Vogue embellishment kit. Lots of fun goodies!

I made the canvas embellishment by stitching around the bottom layer then adding another hand stamped layer on top. Adding lace, flowers and hand cut burlap leaves added a rustic yet frilly touch to the piece. It turned out super cute.

I absolutely LOVE this jewel set! The black tray brings such richness to the image and jewels. A must have!!!

The more I look at this paper the more I like it. I have yet to have the opportunity to sit and do some creating with it. Hopefully this week I can find a few hours to do a layout or two. So pretty!

I love all these different colored lace. Each of them give the paper a different look. The darker colors brighten up the roses. Love!!! :)

Paper flowers to coordinate with Alma's Sewing Room.

I love adding these tiles to my layouts and projects. These are 1" glass circles that I added the images to. I thought to add another set of images to the backside so the tiles become more versatile. Check out my Etsy shop to see the other side.

Pion Design's Alma's Sewing Room

Hello, yes, I know it's been a while since I posted. I sure wish I would keep up with my blog. Hopefully some day soon I can. I have so many ideas I would like to d, but seems to be very little time to do them in.

One thing though, I am so excited to announce I just received my new order for Pion Desings Alma's Sewing Room. If you love Pion you are going to love this collection. I will be going shopping at the end of the week to purchase embellishments to accommodate the papers and am hoping to have everything listed in my Etsy shop by Feb 15th. So check back to see all the yummy goodies!

Pion Design Mother

Hello All. I'm trying to get better about sharing more items here on my step at a time :) I did this layout for Sketch Inspirations where I was last weeks sponsor and then I sold it in my shop.
The paper is Pion Designs Mother, which is for sale in my Etsy shop. The vine is Prima that I cut and used on the left side of the layout. I also added green flowers in the vine and but out the butterflies from the "cut outs" Mother paper. This was my first time at using Tattered Angels Shimmer Mist. That takes a little practice! :)
Sorry the quality of the pic, it was a stormy week when I took the picture.

NOEL Pion Designs

Getting in the Holiday Spirit!!! I am loving these letters and how adorable they have turned out. I used Pion Design Silent Night paper. They blues are so pretty and all the little details make it so special, from the church in a snow covered meadow to the blue paper with snowflakes.
The letters are free standing paper mache that I purchased the letters at Hobby Lobby.
The blue paper is the backside of the "Church" paper and the word paper is the backside of "Silent Night". I used Tim Holtz Tea Dye Distress Ink on all the edges, Prima flowers and a resin angel in the lower corner along with lace and seam binding that I hand dyed. The snow is Deco Art Snow Writer and I added Diamond Dust to give it that fresh snow sparkle.
For the O I used "Winter" paper. Two layers of lace go around the O with lots of flowers, snow and sparkle. I added a chain of Christmas charms with a vintage crystal pendant on the bottom.
I used the "Church" paper for the E. I love this piece. I wanted to make sure the church was visable on the letter so I cut the paper so the church scene would show at the top of the letter and added snow and sparkle so the church would appear to be sitting on real snow. For this snow I used Decor Art Snow Tex from the jar, both snows can be purchased at Michael's. I wanted to use this snow so I could build a mound up on the inside ledge of the letter. It worked great. The corner embellishment and the 25 are Tim Holtz and the Dec tag is from the Silent Night cut outs.
This is by fa my favorite letter. Again I used the backside of Silent Night. I used a Prima resin corner, a bead tassel and Kaiser pearls. I added seam binding that I lightly crinkled under the trees to give it the snow effect. Then I added Queen & Co. Goosebumps to give the sparkle snow effect. Thanks for stopping by!!!
